CLEAN OF COCKROACHES: Dare To Dream

One-act Play

CLEAN OF COCKROACHES: Dare To Dream is Christina I. Tzialla's second theatrical work. Through a contemporary symbolic narrative, it moves between the present, the past and the future.

Drawing on the expressive power of allegory, the play connects different moments in time while exploring enduring questions about humanity, the choices we make and our responsibility towards the world.

The central idea of the work is encapsulated in the phrase featured on the book's back cover:

"We are all just passing through…"

The play was presented as a staged reading incorporating elements of video art on the online platform of the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Ioannina, as part of a programme supporting theatre creators implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Are you a Kalliergatis?

An open invitation to those who believe that cultivating people, knowledge, art, and place is the foundation of a more meaningful world.

The term "Kalliergatis" was coined by the philologist Dr. Konstantinos Kosteas to describe those who share the vision of KALLIERGON syn. Derived from the Greek verb kalliergo ("to cultivate"), it expresses a way of thinking and acting rather than a title or a membership.
