This work is an adaptation of the eponymous one-act play by Christina Tzialla titled "Clean of Cockroaches - Dare to Dream." It is a contemporary piece, looking toward the future while reflecting on the past. It does not serve as a historical account, but rather as a symbolic representation of the events unfolding in the play. The monologues and dialogues are fictional, combined with a "collage" of real phrases, words, and stories that the author has recorded during her daily commutes on the Athens Metro. Thus, this is also the setting where the story takes place, set in 2004. The characters in the play are consistent, appearing to engage in dialogue during their monologues, sometimes internally and at other times with other characters.

It was created to be hosted on the online platform of the Municipal Regional Theater of Ioannina as part of our collaboration through the program supporting creators in the theater sector, in light of the challenging conditions caused by the COVID-19 virus and it is still posted there.

The experimental short film "ConScience," written and directed by Akrivi Kollia, serves as a commentary on marine pollution, with the motto "Every action of yours returns to you." It emphasizes this enormous and unfortunately ever-relevant problem, its consequences, as well as the implications it should have on each of our consciences. The story unfolds on a beach at night, where a beach cleaner, during his shift, encounters an imaginary struggle of a woman against trash that begins to rise from the waves. The narrative moves between the real and the imaginary, utilizing 3D projection mapping by Nikos Radeios on the surface of the sea. The original music for the film was composed by Giorgos Dedousis, and it stars Christina Tzialla.

This film was completed at the end of February 2020. The filming took place at Kalogria beach in Western Mani, with some additional shots at Artemida beach in Loutsa, Attica. It is a production of the former Kalliergon and the current KALLIERGON syn, supported by the Cultural Association for Art and Nature "NARTURA". Its first official premiere abroad was at the International Festival in July 2020, and in Greece, it premiered at the 13th International Film Festival of Larissa in April 2021. We hope the film's journey will validate our shared vision and inspire many consciences while there is still time! Consciousness, both individual and social! Our future is in our hands! Enjoy the screening!

P.S. The film is available for free to any non-profit organizations and collective entities that wish to present it as part of their related environmental activities, upon arrangement with us.
